About

Simplicity. I’m drawn to simple things — shape, color, texture — surfaces, reflections, highlights.

It all started with three things and a bowl. Three peppers picked in Sperryville, VA and a blue china bowl. Everyday objects became a conversation, capturing that interplay of the light, the object, and shadow.

This work is part of my ongoing effort to catch a glimpse of the marvelous effect of light in our lives.
